Before opening her office at the beginning of 2001, she has worked in the top US law firm in Turkey, as its International Legal Counsel. As the leading member of the firm, she worked in many different fields of law. Her last contribution to the firm was to establish aircraft financing as a new practice. During her 30 years in the legal profession, she has represented various blue-chip international and local clients and lead large number of legal teams and professional models.
Drawing on her previous experience with the corporate clients, Ms. Zuvin has specialized on corporate finance and in particular equipment finance. She has extensively been involved in various cross-border joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. She has established the subsidiaries and/or representative offices of multinational companies in Turkey, acted as their custodian shareholders and/or board member as well. Ms. Zuvin also played active role in the drafting of several Turkish legislation, which were introduced to the country as new concepts at the time; such as direct sale, BOT, unfair completion, etc.
Ms. Zuvin is considerate in taking initiatives in social responsibility works; supports and takes active roles in certain non-governmental organizations. As part of her pro-bono work, Ms. Zuvin has also been mentoring young entrepreneurs. Ms. Zuvin is also a prolific writer on various topics, regularly contributing to a number of local and international publications, including Juris Publications, World Bank, Mondaq, Aspatore Books, IBA and Euromoney, Paradigm as well as CNBC Business Magazine. Furthermore, she enjoys lecturing as an adjunct professor in her spare times at prestigious universities in Turkey.
